Capacity
Studio 6 is limited to 300 persons standing or up to 220 persons seated, subject to table and seating configurations.

Venue Description
There is level (step free) access from the main entrance on Rocky Hill leading into the open plan bar and reception area and through to the main performance space. Our accessible viewing area is located to the side of the stage.
Our mezzanine level at Studio 6 is not accessible to wheelchair users as this can only be accessed by stairs to the mezzanine.
If you require the use of the mezzanine level and/or require a seat upstairs, please let us know in advance where possible, to ensure we are aware of your access needs. Our accessible viewing area is located to the side of the stage in the main hall - the stage is elevated from the ground and any performance is viewed from side stage on the ground floor.
We can offer seating on the mezzanine level for those who are able to traverse stairs, but this is only available for certain events. There will be a member of staff monitoring this area during any performance who will be able to help you if you require anything.
Toilets
Our accessible toilets are located at the side of the open plan bar and reception area on the left-hand side, opposite the bar.
Parking and Travel
The venue itself does not have a car park available for general use but there are many public car parks around the area.
The nearest public car park is at the Lockmeadow leisure complex with 678 spaces and 10 parking spaces for customers with disabilities. Fremlin Walk is also nearby with 760 spaces and 26 parking spaces for customers with disabilities. This is 0.4 miles from the venue which can take approx. 10-15 minutes to walk. Local on-street parking is not available.
Drop off and collection can be made outside the venue on Rocky Hill.
Public transport
There is a bus stop opposite the venue (Rocky Hill Stop U). Maidstone West train station is located 0.1 mile away and a 3 minute walk from Studio 6.
Maidstone bus station is only 0.7 miles away and a 15 minute walk from us.
On Arrival at Studio 6
When you arrive at the venue, you will be greeted by a member of the door staff and you will be checked in for our event.

We are pleased to accommodate visitors who may need to bring medication, food, drink or medical equipment to manage a medical condition. We may be able to keep medication refrigerated for you, so please advise us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you. You will also need to contact us in advance should you need to bring any of these items with you to the venue.
If an emergency arises during any event, please approach the nearest member of our event staff and they will be able to assist you.
Assisted Performances
Studio 6 does not yet have a hearing loop system fitted within the venue. We currently do not offer any assisted performance options, but this may change in the future.
Assistance Dogs
We welcome assistance dogs into the venue. However, not all events are suitable so please contact us if you have any concerns.
Strobe Lighting
Lighting effects vary by event but there will be visible signs at the venue stating if strobe lighting will be used during an event.

Studio 6 is located on Rocky Hill, part of the London Road (A20) - a major road into Maidstone town centre.
It is a 3 minute walk from Maidstone West train station and a 15 minute walk from Maidstone bus station.
